Just because it's an official village does not mean that the founders HAVE to allow crop-break and place in their farms. Some people choose to add village residents to a region so that the farms are less likely to get griefed.

I recommend going to Lost Haven or an official town for crops

It doesn't take a "good" builder to make a village - if you expand your area and address the missing requirements appropriately, you'll be all set!

Quests are being worked on, but CV8 release took priority. They will be available at some point, hopefully in the relatively near future
