Arbor town application

we at Arbor think we meet the village requirements

we have our borders clearly marked with two different wall types and buoys as well as our underwater areas should be well lit.

some of our buildings include, Town Hall with the founder list as well as members, Town Center with the map of our village, Iron Farm building, bee house, Mycota's house, madox's observatory, Mario's house, chirp's house, the first subway station, and Mycota's fishing hut, we have many more buildings to come.

Hello! I am very excited to see where Arbor is headed! For now, though, there are multiple requirements that still need to be met.

Village Hall
The founders board is great, but the rules and announcement boards shouldn’t be left empty. Considering implementing basic rules regarding build requirements and/or eviction guidelines, and adding a basic announcement to the announcement board (Think “Applied for village!” or similar).

Village Center
The current village center’s location isn’t particularly “central” in the context of the village - it’s right up against a wall and near a corner. One of the requirements for a village center is that it is in a central location.

Wall
The copper & tuff wall design works well! However, the spruce wall design is only 2.5 blocks tall at many points, and the requirement is for it to be 3 blocks tall.

Player Builds
Please place signs indicating which builds are the founder’s homes.

Lighting
There are many instances of patches of unlit land within the village, including at -2346/79/5551 and -2331/76/5613. Additionally, the roofs on many buildings are missing lights, meaning mobs could spawn on top of buildings.

Just as an additional note, I noticed the build at -2400/90/5563 and was wondering if it is supposed to be part of the village? Presently the wall does not include it.

re-applacation for arbor
we have moved the village center to a more central location
we have fixed the wooden fence hight issue
as well as lighting up roofs and areas
the build at -2400/90/5563 is a founders build that they did not want apart of the village
as well as adding the rules and announcements to our village hall

You are very close to village status! However, there are just a couple things left before then.

Wall
There are chains missing in the tuff wall in the northeast corner, which means mobs could walk through the wall in that area. I apologize for missing this in my first check.

Lighting
There are still several large spots that are unlit including at -2373/95/5663, -2379/71/5768, -2139/72/5916, and -2016/66/5661. There are several smaller spots I noticed as well where it is unlit. If you can and aren’t already using one, I would recommend installing a light level overlay mod to help you see where the light level is low enough for mobs to spawn. I am very excited to see the future of Arbor and hope to see it as a village soon!

I think arbor has fixed its lighting issues,
I used the mod you suggested as well as filling in the section of the wall with the missing chains

Congrats on your Village status! :D

You currently don't have any nbz protection due to the many builds around you unfortunately.

You are able to purchase anti-phantom spawning for 250c! :D
