Hello! I'm on our laptop currently and minecraft wont and hasnt been able to open since idek when. before saturday at least. I keep getting the You can’t open the application “Minecraft” because it is not responding. message and when i try and delete it it says something weird like "you cant delete this. it's open!" ...anybody know how to help...? ;-;

well that pc is a bit weird. are you running an application thats lagging up your pc while trying to play minecraft?

Have you tried restarting it the PC?

it's a macbook and i mean i havent *restarted it* because when i try it's all like "PUT IN ALL THIS INFORMATION THAT YOU DONT KNOW" but ig i'll try...

The first thing I normally do when my computer says an application isn't responding is to Force Quit it.

You can do this by going to the Apple icon up the top left of your screen and clicking Force Quit. A list of applications that you have open will then appear and you select the application that is not responding (Minecraft, in this case) from the list and click the Force Quit button on that window to confirm.

If that doesn't work then I'd recommend turning your computer off and on again as well. The only thing your computer should ask for when you restart is your password. Is there other information it's asking you for?

maybe its the launcher’s problem so if so close the launcher and open it again

nah just the password but it's my dads laptop
