I am on MacBook Air, wondering if u can run optifine without flash player?

I do not know specifically about macs, but in my experience the OS doesn't really matter for optifine.

You'll need a mod loader like Fabric or Forge. Since most people use Fabric I'll start with that.

All you need to do is download Optifine and Optifabric and drop them in your Mods folder. You don't need to actually create a new install for 1.16.5 with optifine installed.

For Forge you'll need to run the install file and create a new profile. This will be called something like 1.16.5-Optifine with some numbers after it.

So like I click on the version I wanna download it for right, and then it says like “your flash player needs to be updated” so I choose ok, but then there’s some thing about like the file is insecure, and I can’t like choose “Ignore.
