The original goal of YRC was to spread positivity using named items. The named items had inspiring quotes on them and small reminders about things like self care. People would purchase chests at YRC's Cubeville City location and then I'd slowly but surely fill the chests with the inspiring items.
Eventually, this led to some problems - for one, I'd be inconsistent with the item gifts and would run out of donations and items of my own to name (we didn't use non-valuable items for the most part). Secondly, as I became more inactive, I lost tract of chest payments and lost track of who needed to empty out their chest to receive more gifts. This, and more factors, led to YRC being pretty inactive and not as well known towards the end of CV6 and a bit in the middle of the map, too.
Now that the whole backstory is over, let's get to the main part of the post.
To start off with, I plan on being as active as ever on CV7. I also plan on creating a City/Town with a few friends. With this, I want and hope for YRC to become more of a thing again. I want to change it up a bit, though, and make it even better than ever. Instead of the same format that we had with the naming of the items and then the putting of the items into the chests, I want to somehow expand upon this idea and make it better. I don't really know how to do this, though.
For one, I plan on having at least two different YRC locations, and hopefully one being in the City I plan to build and (if allowed by Staff again for CV7) the other to be somewhere in CVC. I'm also potentially planning on having a small cabinet of people that would help me out with YRC and the different locations. There may be another post in the future about this cabinet, so if you're interested, either PM me in-game (1Loredana) whenever, PM me on here, or keep your eyes out for the post that'll have more information.
With all that information, here's what we need from you all:
1) Do you have any ideas on how we can bring YRC back with a bang and make it better than ever?
2) What are your thoughts about YRC? Both views are appreciated - views from those that remember it and views from those that had no idea what it was.
3) If we were to rename YRC, what do you think we should rename it as? This is about halfway hypothetical. I'm playing with the idea of renaming YRC, but I also enjoy the memories associated with the name.
