Anthem project competition, as discussed in the September 5 Citizens' Union meeting.
Submit your entries via posting on this thread before the September 19 Citizens' Union meeting.

Someone suggested the anthem should mention "how tight-knit and friendly our community is, and how everyone in CV always stay together."

Another suggested the anthem should "thank the staff because they've done so much for us."

Tisjstme suggested it could include this poem she made about Rift:

"In a pristine world staff made for fun,
They brought in citizens one by one,
We messed the lands with nubshacks many,
So staff proclaimed we would not have any,

The wars of Rift began to reign,
The land was blasted again and again,
Completely destroyed, a new world was issued,
The citizens returned, so the cycle continued."

Thanks for adding my rift poem Grey.
I feel it tells the tale of rift very well. Well, the way I know the concept of rift, as it portrayed itself since I was in my first one, on map 3.

CV is the place to be they say
with cats and dogs and cows and hay

A place for kids to have some fun,
With friendships there for everyone.

Come young, come old, into our village,
With games and lots of builds to finish.

With strings that bind us tightly woven
And staff who keep us all a floatin'
(OR) Together we're knitted with minds alike
and staff to keep this place alright.

Though friends may come and friends may go,
The community here will always flow.
