Cities Through The Ages

Hey everyone! Thought I would make a showcase of the Bedwars Build Battle arena that me and my team 'Fish N' Chips' have been working on. Our theme for this build battle is cities through the ages - Each island/area is a different theme with a build from a certain period of modern history. Lets go through what we have done 
1910's - 1930's Townhouse/Department Store
First off we have our 1910's-1930's style department store - inspired by Aquatown from Hermitcraft S7. This build was based from old, retro stores and buildings from the early 20th century.
1960's Apartment Block
Second, we have our 1960's style Apartment Blocks. This theme was inspired by the mass-built tower blocks and social housing built within Europe, (especially the UK) during the 1960s.
Modern Day (2010's/2020's) Retail Premises
Next, we've got a modern-day retail premises, aka Bed Incorporated, built in the style of modern showrooms, apartments, shops etc of the current era.
Eco-Futuristic City Buildings
Inspired by many artistic interpretations of green, eco-friendly buildings of the future, tall towers with gardens all over on little levels and balconies, our final island is just that, but in minecraft form.
Centrepiece (Emerald Island)
To wrap up the design of the arena, we decided to create something found in all of the eras. A lovely, peaceful park with a gazebo, containing the emerald generators.
